St Peter’s Church hosts traditional Christmas Fayre

Step into the spirit of Christmas to the sound of handbells and harpists at the St Peter’s Christmas Fayre this December.

The bellringers and musicians will provide the seasonal soundtrack to what promises to be a truly traditional experience for those looking for festive gifts and homemade treats for loved ones.

Some 20 or more stalls will be set up in the aisles of the ancient Carmarthen church selling a range of artisan crafts, textiles, quality second-hand books and toys, as well as an impressive array of delicious produce.

Visitors can keep warm inside with a glass of mulled wine and a mince pie as they wander through the church and soak up the fascinating history of St Peter’s.

The St Peter’s Church Christmas Fayre is on Saturday December 9. The doors open at 10.30am with a welcome from the talented Clarsach Society harpists who will play at interludes during the day along with some classic handbell ringing by the St Peter’s bellringers. There will be a raffle with an assortment of prizes. The fayre ends at 2.30pm and entry is free.

Everyone is welcome.
